size_t getSectionCount()

Get the number of section headers, resolving extended numbering.

When e_shnum is zero and a section header table exists, the real count is stored in the sh_size field of section header zero (SHN_XINDEX encoding); it is returned at full width instead of being narrowed to e_shnum's 16 bits.

Returns

The resolved section header count.

Throws

Exception if the section header table is out of bounds.
