rollingTime
fn
Series rollingTime(Series values, Series times, long window,
size_t minPeriods = 1, string agg = "sum", size_t ddof = 1) @trustedThe time-based rolling aggregation (ADR-2026-10-30-03): over an explicit (values, times) pair - no hidden index column. The times are DATETIME and must be sorted ascending (validated, throws; never silently sorted); row i sees the window [tI - window, tI] inclusive on both ends. The aggregation semantics, association and minPeriods/ddof null rules mirror the fixed-width row rolling exactly ("sum", "mean", "count", "min", "max", "std", "variance"; null values skip; the two-pass dispersion never slides). Null timestamps reject the whole call (use filter first).
Parameters
values | the value Series |
times | the DATETIME time Series (equal length, sorted) |
window | the inclusive window width (nanoseconds; the dur* constructors) |
minPeriods | the minimum valid values for a non-null result |
agg | the aggregate name |
ddof | the dispersion degrees of freedom (std/variance) |
Returns
the FLOAT64 rolling Series.
Throws
DataFrameException on non-DATETIME or unsorted times,
length mismatch, a non-positive window or null timestamps.
