compare
The comparison operations on two Series of equal length. Comparisons require the same kind (temporal with temporal, string with string, boolean with boolean for eq/ne); numeric pairs compare at the numeric supertype. A null operand yields a null result slot; float comparisons are IEEE (NaN != NaN yields false, not null).
